Rowland Ward 1848-1912

Rowland Ward Ltd was at one time the best known taxidermy businesses in the world.

Roland, along with his brother, had been trained by his father Henry, who had at one time been employed by John Audubon, a famous American naturalist. After working for his father for some years, Rowland started his own business c1872 in Harley Street. He later had premises at 158, 166 and 167 Piccadilly.
