This exhibition looks at the story of royalty as reflected in Hampshire, from the time of the Late Iron Age kings to the dark days of the English Civil War. Reigns long and short, glorious and disastrous, as well as unions celebrated and fated, played out many of their decisive scenes on Hampshire soil. Explore with us the surviving evidence from this incessant fight for power.
Births, Battles and Beheadings can be seen at the Willis Museum Tuesday-Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm, and on Saturdays 10:00am-4:00pm. Admission is free - donations welcome!
