Outside there are ramps which give access to view the villa remains, although the site is largely grass with no paths and the ground is uneven, which may make wheelchair use difficult.
Dogs are welcome in the grounds, but not in the museum
We sell tea, coffee and ice creams and there are tables outside if you want to bring your own picnic to enjoy.
There are pubs and a shop in the nearby village if you require more.
Rockbourne Roman Villa welcomes families – there’s room outside for children to run around and inside they can enjoy dressing up as Romans and enjoy Roman themed games and quizzes. The very young can build their own villa from Lego.
We have baby changing facilities.
Our address is Rockbourne Roman Villa, Rockbourne Road, Rockbourne, near Fordingbridge, SP6 3PG
